Lunch Menu


Every day Fresh Fruit and Veggie Bar


Mon 10/16 –Dress your own hot dog, roasted sweet potato wedges, and baked beans.

Tue 10/17 – Chicken Fajitas with sautéed onions & peppers, rice pilaf, marinated black bean salsa.

Wed 10/18 – Minestrone soup with fresh kale, cheesy breadsticks with marinara, fresh celery sticks.

Thu 10/19 – Spaghetti with meat or marinara sauce, garlic breadstick.

Fri 10/20 – Harvest Fest – Shepard’s Pie with local potatoes, roasted local root vegetables, dinner roll, harvest dessert.


Grab n’ Go Breakfast:


Mondays: bagel with cream cheese.

Tuesdays: breakfast round.

Wednesdays: yogurt with fruit.

Wednesday, October 18th Week 2



Calling all Cooks:  I am in the process of looking for students to participate in the Teen Cook Off.  If you are interested please see Mrs. Jeralds to sign up.  The deadline to sign up competition is January 2018.  I want to be ready with a team!!

 

Pittsburg Players! Rehearsal begins TUESDAY for Leads and grade 7/8 Crew, last period in the Music Room. Schedules will be posted this week - keep an eye on the music bulletin boards!



New England Math League Competition


The competition will be held on October 24th . All students’ grade 4-12 are invited to participate. The Competition will take place in school during study hall. It will be 30 minutes long and the students will be given 6 problems to solve. I currently have copies of the contest problems and solutions from the previous years. Interested students should see Dr. Monin, ASAP.

New England Math League Competition

The competition will be held on October 17th or 24th. We might have to reschedule for October 24th because of the game. All students’ grade 9-12 are invited to participate. A Drivers Ed course will begin on Wednesday, September 27th, from 3:00pm to 5:00 pm at Colebrook Academy.  You must have an original birth Certificate, be 16 before Friday, December 22nd, and have eye exam done by the school nurse or eye doctor.  We will have a sign-up sheet in the office, if you have any questions please contact Amy Leighton 237-8491.

Kindergarten Graduation will be held in the Bremer Pond Auditorium on Tuesday, June 13th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.

Wednesday, June 14th, early release, last day of school, Have a great summer!

There are 3 positions open to any students age 14 -17 who want to work 28 hours a week at $8.00 an hour clearing trails and career training, and environmental classroom learning. Going to work three days a week Wednesday and Thursday 6:30 am to 4:30 pm and Monday night work 3:30-7:30 and there will be a class night 3-7 on Tuesday.  If any Pittsburg student is interested Please call Ron Patterson at the Academy, 603-237-8351.

Got Lunch Program - The deadline to sign up is Friday, June 2nd if you would like to participate in the Got Lunch Program please get the forms into the office by Friday.

 

The 80’s dance party was out of this world!  Such fun!  It was so nice to see so many staff members and students participating and having good, clean fun!  Thanks to those who organized the event!  Mrs. Gray.

 

The following senior did not return his Chromebook: Creed.  Bryan and Destiny owe money for  chargers.  Please remind them that diplomas will be held until such time as everything is in order.   Devices should be free of stickers and, if you have downloaded any music or programs to the device, please remove these prior to the return date.  Thank you.  Mrs. Gray.  

 

As the end of the school year draws nigh, I would appreciate all library materials returned before the close of school on Fri. Key Club members are selling bracelets and Key Chains. Half of the money raised will stay with the Key Club and help cover costs for our projects and the fall leadership conferences. The other half of the money goes to support Threads of Hope an organization that works to provide income for disadvantaged families in the Philippines. See a Key Clubber or Ms. Cartwright to buy yours!  

Driver Ed Summer Classes start Thursday June 8th 3:15-5:15 - Students must have proof of eye exam, be 16 or older by Friday 8/25/17, and need an original birth certificate.  Please call Amy Leighton to sign up 603-237-8491.
