A SHOUT-OUT to all of the students who have worked so hard to complete the Smarter Balanced tests.  Thank you so much for your effort and your thoughtful answers.  It was a pleasure to watch you all as you took your time and did your best to represent yourselves and our school in a positive way.  Keep up the good work.  Mrs. Gray.

The date has changed for Pictures: Varsity softball & baseball players: individual and team pictures will be taken on Tuesday, May 16th at 3:45, starting with softball. This is not a game night so be sure to bring your uniforms. Coaches have the forms for individual pictures.

Key Club members are selling bracelets and Key Chains. Half of the money raised will stay with the Key Club and help cover costs for our projects and the fall leadership conferences. The other half of the money goes to support Threads of Hope an organization that works to provide income for disadvantaged families in the Philippines. See a Key Clubber or Ms. Cartwright to buy yours!

Don’t forget the winning artwork will be on display at Fiddleheads in Colebrook for the month of May if you weren’t able to make the art show!

Thanks again to all the preK-6th grade students who participated in the Blooming Readers reading incentive program.  It was so exciting to see that 27 students took part this year for a grand total of 22,828 minutes read between all of the readers!  It was especially exciting to see that we had six of these readers reading for more than 1,000 minutes each (five of those read more than 2,000 minutes).  Keep up the good work, students, and be sure to thank Mrs. Goudreau in the office as she and her husband provided the fabulous 3-D bookmarks.  Weren’t those bookmarks super cool?  Mrs. Gray

The 8th grade will be going to Crossroads on May 17th.  They will leave at 7:35am and return by 2:25.

There will be a Presentation on the Effects of Opiates with Skip Gates on Wednesday, May 17th 9:00 a.m. in the Auditorium.
