Bio
I grew up in Newmarket, NH and earned my BS in home economics education at UNH in Durham in 1974. I began my teaching career here in Pittsburg that fall teaching home economics. I taught that subject for several years. Eventually, I decided to stay at home to raise our four children, and when I returned to teach here, I was in a new position as the school librarian. I earned my Masters in Library Science from Syracuse University in 1998 and have been working here in the library at Pittsburg School since 1995. I truly enjoy introducing students to wonderful books, teaching them keyboarding, and guiding them in the research process. Currently, I am working part-time.
